Obito Uchiha was a member of Konoha's Uchiha clan. He was believed to have died during the Third Shinobi World War, his only surviving legacy being the Sharingan he gave to his teammate, Kakashi Hatake. In truth, Obito was saved from death and trained by Madara, but the events of the war left Obito disillusioned with reality, and he inherited Madara's plan to create an ideal world. Resurfacing under the names of Tobi and Madara Uchiha himself, Obito subtly took control of the Akatsuki, using them as a means to advance his machinations, eventually going public and starting the Fourth Shinobi World War. Gaara

Gaara is a shinobi of the Hidden Sand Village (Suna). He was made the jinchūriki of the One-Tailed Shukaku before he was born, causing the villagers of Suna to fear him as a monster. With nobody to connect to, Gaara grew up hating the world and looking out only for himself, giving his life meaning by killing anyone he came across. After being defeated by Naruto Uzumaki — a jinchūriki like himself who found strength in his friendships — Gaara starts emulating him. He becomes Suna's Fifth Kazekage so that he can protect the village and all those who live there, dispelling the fears he cast on the villagers. Sanemi Shinazugawa

Sanemi Shinazugawa (不死しなず川がわ 実さね弥み, Shinazugawa Sanemi?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Wind Hashira (風かぜ柱ばしら, Kaze Bashira?).[2] Sanemi is also the older brother of Genya Shinazugawa, a Demon Slayer who fought alongside Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado. Before becoming a Hashira, Sanemi, along with his partner Masachika Kumeno, defeated the former Lower Rank One, Ubume, with Masachika dying as a result.

Shinobu Kocho

  Shinobu Kocho (胡こ蝶ちょう しのぶ, Kochō Shinobu?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Insect Hashira (蟲むし柱ばしら, Mushi Bashira?).[2][3] Shinobu Kocho is also the younger sister of Kanae Kocho along with her adoptive younger sister Kanao Tsuyuri. After a demon killed her parents, Shinobu joined the Demon Slayer Corps along with her sister in order to protect others from suffering the same fate as her.

  Kyojuro Rengoku (煉獄 杏寿郎, Rengoku Kyōjurō) is a major protagonist in the 2016-2020 fantasy horror manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and its 2019 anime television series adaption. He is the deuteragonist of the 2020 anime movie Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Movie - Mugen Train which adapted the Demon Train arc of the manga. Kyojuro was one of the nine Hashira, a group of the nine greatest Demon Slayers in the Demon Slayer Corps. Specifically, Kyojuro was the Flame Hashira who made use of the Flame Breathing. While not having his life being directly affected by Demons like many other members in the Corps, Kyojuro household had produced Demon hunters for generations. Kyojuro, with his sense of duty instilled by his ailing mother since childhood, saw it as a duty to protect the innocent from Demons and entered the corps to serve humanity.   Gyomei Himejima (悲ひ鳴め嶼じま 行ぎょう冥めい, Himejima Gyōmei?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Stone Hashira (岩いわ柱ばしら, Iwa Bashira?). Gyomei also serves as the mentor of Genya Shinazugawa.

Muichirō Tokito

  Muichiro Tokito (時とき透とう 無む一いち郎ろう, Tokitō Muichirō?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Mist Hashira (霞かすみ柱ばしら, Kasumi Bashira?).[3] Muichiro along with his brother Yuichiro Tokito, are also the descendants of Upper Rank One, Kokushibo.

Tanjiro Kamado (竈門かまど 炭たん治じ郎ろう, Kamado Tanjirō?) is the main protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps, who joined to find a remedy to turn his sister, Nezuko Kamado, back into a human and to hunt down and kill demons in order to protect others from suffering the same fate as him. Before he became a Demon Slayer, his entire family was slaughtered by the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji, while his younger sister, Nezuko, was turned into a demon as a result
